Developing Positive Changes provides behavior analysis services in Central and Suncoast regions of Florida. Services are provided in the home, school, and the community environments.
Services
DPC is passionate about Applied Behavior Analysis and how it helps us help you. Initially, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst or a Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst will visit your home to observe & complete the assessment interview.
The assessment will identify & define problem behaviors of concern, what the behaviors look like, how often the behaviors occur, what the intensity of the behaviors are, how long each behavior lasts and where the behaviors take place. This information assists in determining the function of the problem behaviors. The assessment also addresses acquiring new skills such as: communication and language, compliance, and socialization. When we know the function of the problem behaviors, we can develop appropriate intervention strategies and teach replacement behaviors.
The behavior analyst will work with you in identifying new skills that will be taught that are meaningful to you and the client. A comprehensive behavior plan designed specifically for your person of interest will be written that will outline techniques that address all areas of concern. Effective techniques will also be designed to reduce problem behaviors.
Behavior analyst will work side by side with you to assist you while you are learning new strategies. Our services will be delivered in the places that are most problematic for you they may include but not limited to: home, school, doctor’s appointments, hair cuts, malls, going out to eat, grocery store, and therapist appointments.
Ongoing consultation will take place to ensure that positive behavior changes are maintained.
